Westchester Kitchen Remodeling
This Westchester kitchen remodeling project needed a lot of work. Outdated design and a cramped space made for a kitchen that just didn’t sit right with the family. So, we had to roll up our sleeves and start thinking like a family of cooks. Read on to find out how we revamped this entire room!
As in many home kitchens, storage and working space is always an issue. We like to make sure any storage we put in is both ample and convenient for the users. In this kitchen, we took advantage of every corner that could be used for cabinets. An island with even more room for drawers and shelves (not pictured) was added with a unique country panel design. The island also helped to solve the work area issue. Pendant lights were installed above for lighting while preparing food or for guests to gather around. A contrast was built between the stainless steel and black appliances and hardware with white cabinetry and light yellow walls. The backsplash tile and granite countertop balanced the two in a happy middle ground. New windows were also installed to allow more natural light.
We always say that the kitchen is the heart of the home, and the design should reflect that. Good design is not just about choosing the right colors – it’s about creating a space that works well and makes actions easier. Whether you need more space, a better atmosphere, or a transformative design to fit your lifestyle and tastes, we’re here to help.
